Cancer Sticks

Yellow foam-like bottom, white toxic top
with ashes burning at the tip,
releasing smoke and chemicals into the air.
Just looking at it makes me angry.
Cigarettes.
When you light them,
you give them the power to kill:
yourself
people and animals around you
the environment. 
And then once they're done,
the butts are tossed on the ground.
Littering.
Is being stressed really a good enough reason
to cause all this harm?
Selfish.
You say you've been smoking so long it's hard to quit.
You say you're drinking so you need a smoke.
Excuses.
If you wanted to quit, you would.
Will-power.
They cause so many problems
and yet so many people smoke,
wasting money to kill yourself slowly.
Stupid.
Why must these cancer sticks exist?
